The show will be held in conjunction with the World of Pets Expo at the Maryland Fairgrounds in Timonium, MD.
There will also be a Fun show anyone can enter on Sunday with cat trees awarded to the top 10 cats.

YOU MUST WEAR THE WRIST BAND PROVIDED TO ENTER WITHOUT PAYING!! If you're staying at the show hotel find me and I'll give you your wristband. If not you can get it at check-in. It isn't needed to come in the back door during the check-in time.
The show is being held in the Cow Palace building. The picture below is the floor plan for the show hall. We can park in the back and enter through the ‘back door’ on the upper right of the picture marked with a red X, which is near our area.
Check in time is between 9:00 – 9:30 for the ACFA show. If you are just in the Fun Ring, please check in by noon on Sunday.
There's just a few things you need to know.
1. Transport your cat to the show in a carrier.
2. Try to arrive within a half hour of the start of check-in. For our
show that is by 10:30. This will give you plenty of time to check-in,
find your spot and setup.
3. The wire cages provided need to be covered to keep the cats calm and
provide a better looking area. For your first show I suggest a
disposable large oblong table cloth. Party stores are a good source and
have many colors.
4. Bring a towel or small bed from home for your cat. Its familiar scent
will help calm them and it will provide a soft stop to nap between
rings.
5. Bring a small litter box. The shows provide litter, usually clay. If
your cat uses something else, like pine, you may want to bring it too.
6. Small bowl for water and food and the food.
7. Let the folks around you know it is your first time. They'll give you
some more hints and tips to make it a great weekend.
ACFA rules and procedures:
Champion status: Whole cats and Alters need to win FOUR Winners Ribbons to become a Champion. Winners Ribbons are given to the best cat of each breed, sex, color, and status within a class. That means if you cat is just starting out and is in Open status they only compete against other cats in Open status. If your cat receives four Winners Ribbons on Saturday you will need to fill out the confirmation form, included in the catalog, to promote it to Champion and pay the $7 fee to be able to show the cat on Sunday. Because the criteria include status and color, it is very easy for the breeds that come in many colors to obtain the four Winners Ribbons on Saturday.
ALL BENGALS, KORATS, PIXIBOBS, SINGAPURAS AND NBC’S MUST HAVE A REGISTRATION NUMBER PRIOR TO ENTERING THE SHOW!
